Day 1
Depart USA for Havana, Cuba. Today you arrive in Cuba’s vibrant capital city of Havana. Locked in 60 years of isolation and embargo, Out In Cuba is going to show you a Cuba you cannot imagine. Your new best friend in Havana will be waiting for you at the airport with a smile and transfer to your awaiting accommodations. He will assist you in checking into your chosen home for your stay in Havana. Out In Cuba will take you for a stroll around your neighborhood to familiarize you with what surrounds you.
Day 2
Havana City Sightseeing: After breakfast at the Casa this morning you will enjoy a comprehensive tour of Havana. You can take this day by classic car. Enjoy the Malecon, Vidado and the embassy neighborhoods of this vibrant and exciting city. You will learn about the unique history between the United States and Cuba and understand how Cuba has dealt with 60 years of embargo. The day will be a special experience.
Day 3
Old Havana Tour: Your guide will meet you at your Casa for an interesting walking tour of Old Havana. Some of the sites you will see are Revolution Square and the famous Cathedrals and historic parts of Havana that only a local will know.Why not a daiquiri cocktail at Hemingways bar.
Day 4
Off to Trinidad with your private guide and driver. Today you enjoy a wonderful sightseeing tour of this UNESCO World Heritage City. Learn about more than 500 years of continuous occupation and its encounters with the Spanish, Pirates, Americans and then Castro. The town square is one of the most beautiful in the country and the famous “Steps” will introduce you to some of the finest Cuban music that you will experience anywhere in the country.
Day 5
Another day of Trinidad and the surrounding countryside. Sugar Mills and even a hike to Vegas Waterfall. You decide what you what to see and experience. The beach here is a wonder for snorkeling and swimming.
Day 6
Today we leave Trinidad for a scenic journey to the capital of Havana. Along the way a visit to the Artist Colony of Cienfuegos. Here you will enjoy Cuba’s most cultural city… full of artist, singers and some of the nation’s most important creative peoples.
Day 7
Time seems to change as you journey through 500 years to modern Cuba and the capital. A day on your own to see the sites you may have missed or just to relax.
Day 8
Today your journey to Cuba comes to an end as you are transferred to the Jose Marti Airport and your flight home. This very intimate and special experience comes to a conclusion as you have learned of the beautiful sights, sounds and people of Cuba.
